Overview

Two days of riding and desert in Fayoum, with one night under the stars.

Day one starts with breakfast in Tunis village and a ride along the shore of Lake Qarun. After lunch a 4×4 takes you dune bashing and sandboarding at Magic Lake, and you watch the sun set over the dunes. The night is at a desert camp: equipped tents, a campfire dinner of grilled chicken, rice, vegetables and salads, tea, and a sky full of stars.

Day two begins with the sunrise and breakfast at the camp. Then you ride out into the open desert with our safari guides for about three hours, and a second 4×4 safari brings you back through the dunes for lunch and the drive to Cairo.

Prefer sightseeing? Swap the day-two ride for Wadi El Hitan, the Valley of the Whales with its open-air fossil museum, and the Wadi El Rayan waterfalls.

Private: just your group, from 1 to 6 riders, with your own driver and guide. All entrance and camping fees are included and no tips are expected.
