No, we welcome riders of all experience levels. Our professional instructors will provide proper training and match you with a suitable horse based on your skill level.
Riders from 6 years old are welcome; children ride a horse led by the guide. The maximum rider weight is 110 kg. Riding isn’t suitable for people with a heart condition.
Giza rides start at our stables in Kafr El Gabal, next to the pyramids. Saqqara rides start at our stable in Saqqara. We send you the exact location on WhatsApp after you book. Hotel pick-up is available for an extra charge.

The Great Pyramids ride takes 1.5 to 3 hours, the Saqqara sunset ride about 2 hours. Fayoum is a day trip and Dahab a 4-day trip.

Tipping is customary in Egypt and is greatly appreciated. For a tour guide, a good tip ranges from $10 to $20 USD per day, depending on the length and quality of the tour. For shorter horseback rides or experiences, tipping 10-15% of the cost is a thoughtful gesture. Remember, tipping in Egyptian pounds is convenient for locals.
Yes: hotel pick-up from Cairo and Giza is available for an extra charge. Tick it when you book, or ask us on WhatsApp and we confirm the price.
Professional photos and an action-camera video of your ride are optional extras: add them when you book, or later on WhatsApp. You can also take your own photos with your phone at every stop.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your ride: you get your deposit back in full, or move to another date at no cost. Later cancellations and no-shows keep the deposit. Full details in our cancellation policy.
Yes, we offer private and customized riding experiences for individuals, families, and groups.
Giza rides are in the morning, from 8:30. Saqqara rides are at sunset. Rides go ahead in the heat and the wind: water is on us.
